• Skagway • Skagway is the name derived from the language of the Tyrrangi people of the Alaska Southern Indians, and Skagua is the house of the North Wind. As gold ore was discovered at Klondike in the Yukon area, explorers began to flock to the gold mine, and Skegway was built in this way. More than 10,000 explorers have traveled through this area, and the nightlife they have left can feel the breath of that time.
